it's over for now, I've got one more day in Alpine and then it's summer time! Just need to study for 4 finals, pack & move, and get the hell out of dodge

getting by

I'm here, real busy and living off twizzlers and rockstar but having fun. Three weeks till Vegas bachelorette shitshow, 3 weeks after that left of school, then up to Mass for a week of beers and troublemaking, one rowdy wedding, and then a six hour drive to Chazy, NY for summer internship. It's about 6 mi from the border up there, right on lake champlain, working with cows and nerdy science things, pretty exciting!

i'm alive

still here, just real real busy. Working 6 days a week with horses, bartending 3-4 nights a week, and overloading. Tonight's my first night to go out for a beer in weeks and I'm pumped. I just have to head back and do my work at the barn first.

dammit

sooo it bit me in the ass...all this braggin about the weather and a cold front moved in yesterday, bringin winter with it...so cold the horses were getting stir crazy and bucking in the stalls, made for dodgy work today but always exciting!

im back

so i made it back to alpine in 3 days, just Gus and me. Cruised in around 7 on monday, dumped the dog, and went to the bar. now its time for registration/unpacking and all that crap. the trip wasnt too bad, except for a couple traffic jams, the interstate closing in tennessee cause of a bad wreck, and a five hour accidental detour through arkansas. all in all, a good trip. I think im going pedestrian for a while though. 40 hours of driving solo was enough fun for me.

Just discovered that Charter cable in Marshfield plays RFD-TV, the hillbilly channel!
I've been in withdrawal of tractor pulls, cattle auctions, and evolutionarily challenged people in bolo ties, and I just realized it. T-3 days till the drive.
